With this new update, a ‘Talk to us on WhatsApp’ toggle can easily be switched on or off from your chat widget settings when you have successfully connected a WhatsApp account to your eDesk.


What happens in eDesk when a customer clicks ‘Talk to us on WhatsApp” from my live chat widget?

When a customer/prospect contacts you through the ‘Talk to us on WhatsApp’ on your eDesk’s Live chat widget, a ticket in eDesk is created which you can respond to, follow up on, assign, tag, etc.

How does it work?

It’s easy, once you’ve ensured that you’ve successfully added and connected a WhatsApp account to eDesk, create a live chat widget. In the customization section of the settings of the widget you’ve created, scroll down to toggle the enable ‘Talk to us on WhatsApp’ on or off, and if you have more than 1 WhatsApp accounts connected, select the desired one from the dropdown below the toggle.
